Yes, Halloween—or as our Celtic ancestors called it, Samhain—is upon us! At Brigit’s Garden, we invite you to dive into the eerie enchantment of this season. Don your most creative costumes and join us for a day filled with ghastly ghouls, spine-tingling storytelling, and wacky witchery. Be warned, though, you might want to disguise yourself well to avoid the mischievous fairies that roam during this otherworldly time!

Ghastly Ghouls’ Treasure Hunt 👻

Prepare for an adventure that will send shivers down your spine! Horrible ghosts have overrun the Garden, and it’s up to you to thwart their spectral plans. Follow the cryptic clues, muster your courage to face the mummy in the crannóg, and summon your bravery in the face of the coffin lurking in the chamber. As you collect the letters scattered throughout this eerie landscape, you’ll piece together a magic spell to banish these malevolent spirits once and for all. The Ghastly Ghouls’ Treasure Hunt is a chilling challenge that you can embark upon at any time, and rest assured, every child will be rewarded with a small prize for their bravery.

Spooky Storytelling with Rab Fulton 💀

For those with a taste for the macabre and a love for spine-tingling tales, Rab Fulton, a true master of Celtic storytelling, awaits to send shivers down your spine. Gather around at the scheduled hours to listen to ghostly stories that will have you enthralled. Be prepared to be scared, but not too scared, as you immerse yourself in the mystical world of Celtic folklore. Tickets for these captivating storytelling sessions can be obtained when you arrive.

Notions & Potions with the Wacky Witch 🎃

What would Samhain be without a little witchery? Pay a visit to the Wacky Witch in her enigmatic thatched Roundhouse, where her cauldron bubbles with magical possibilities. Join her in creating special potions and spells designed to rid the Garden of its ghostly inhabitants. It’s a hands-on experience in the mystical arts that will leave you feeling bewitched. Who knows what wondrous concoctions you’ll brew under the guidance of this eccentric enchantress!
