About the Scenic Farmhouse
Ardmore House is set on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean amid rugged landscape. 5km. west of Clifden Town, it is a small holding stretching from the upper Sky Road to the lower Sky Road and on out to the cliffs locally known as the Slopers. Here we have made a walkway for our Guests. The views from the Slopers of Clifden Bay and the Atlantic Ocean are some of the best you’ll find in Ireland.
Tip: Don’t just drive the Sky Road—walk it! The private guest walkway at Ardmore House is a hidden gem; pack a light snack and head down to the picnic area on the cliffs for a front-row seat to the Atlantic swell. If you’re coming from Clifden, stop by a local deli for some Connemara smoked salmon to enjoy at the cliffside table.
