St. Martin’s Guesthouse

About the Guesthouse

Location is everything with this homey and picturesque lodging – it’s officially called a guesthouse, but it is more of a B&B in size and facilities. Recommended by the New York Times (July 2005), it is surrounded by gardens and sits beside a waterfall, on the west side of O’Brien’s Bridge and overlooking the River Corrib – yet it is just a one block walk from the city centre. Hosts Mary and Donie Sexton offer 4 guest rooms, each with TV, hair dryer and coffee/tea tray on request. Mary’s home-made brown bread is a highlight of breakfast (tel. 091-568286, e-mail: [email protected]).
