Ballynahinch Castle is an intimate 4 star hotel set in 450 acres of woodlands, rivers and walks in the heart of Connemara, Galway. It stands proud and majestic overlooking the famous Ballynahinch Salmon River, whilst being surrounded the splendour of the Twelve Bens. There are 40 luxuriously appointed rooms at Ballynahinch Castle Hotel which have been decorated and furnished to reflect the Castle’s history. Choose from an elegant standard, superior or luxury bedroom or a Riverside suite. Standard rooms which are situated in the main part of the house have views of the mountains, river or courtyard. Each room has a private bathroom, TV and direct dial telephone. Superior Rooms have four poster beds, a sitting area and views of the river. Luxury Rooms and Riverside Suites, which are located in the riverside wing, have king size beds, luxury bathroom, private dressing area and dressing gown and slippers are provided. These rooms enjoy views of the river and woodland.

There are many leisure activities that can be enjoyed at Ballynahinch Castle Hotel. Pony trekking on the beach can be arranged at reception and the walking centre provides guided walks through the Twelve Bens mountains. Ballynahinch Fishery is known as one of the finest salmon and sea trout rivers in Ireland. The hotel also has 13,000 acres of prime woodcock shooting which is held from November through to the end of January.
