The Galway Comedy Festival is the highlight of the West of Ireland's comedy calendar. The 2010 event is taking place in October throughout the following venues in Galway - Roisin Dubh, Kelly''s Bar, Town Hall Theatre, Black Box, Radisson Blu Hotel, and more to be announced. The main acts to perform this year are likely to be Jason Byrne, PJ Gallagher, Des Bishop, Neil Delamare plus many more.

Cuba is a popular three floor nightclub caterng for all tastes but is a favourite with the students. Bar 903 opens late until after 2am with excellent DJ's. Comedy club Sunday nights. Over the years Cuba has hosted live band and DJ sets from artists such as Groove Armada, The Klaxons, Bloc Party, Calvin Harris, Ash, The Frames, Crystal Castles, The Frames, Bell X1. DJ residencies have included The Disconauts, Shake!, Bodytonic, Gigantic, Choice Cuts, Naked, Johnny Moy, Strictly Handbag & Havana.
