Sheridan's on the docks is a fine pub and restaurant housed in an old building dating from the 1800's which has been brightened up considerably since being renovated in the past few years. The building itself is well known due to it being the birthplace of Galway writer Padraig O'Conaire. They also claim to serve the cheapest pint in town. Modern Irish food is served daily with the main focus being on seasonality and quality local produce. This premises can cater for small or large bookings, either in the pub for a less formal setting, or in the restaurant upstairs. The restaurant is open from 6:30pm with last orders at 10:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
