Situated in the centre of Roundstone village and over-looking the most picturesque working harbour in the West of Ireland, O'Dowds has been serving both locals and visitors since 1840. Wood panelled walls and open fires give it an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. It is a relaxing place where you can enjoy a pint and a bite from the reasonably priced bar menu which includes a good range of fresh local seafood. The present owners are always on hand offering gentle advice and service and O'Dowds is renowned for serving the best seafood in Ireland.

A lively warm and cosy pub with open fires and a great atmosphere, Monroe's is lively spot for traditional music and ballads in Galway City. Monroe's remains the only pub in the city for regular Irish dancing (on Tuesday's). You can take pizzas through to the bar from Galway's best pizza joint, the attached Monroe's Pizza Cabin. Upstairs has a large and popular nightclub with live bands and smoking area.

McSwiggans Pub and Restaurant continues a tradition that began in the early 1900s. It was built on the site of an old Coach Building Forge, remnants of which can still be seen in the ground floor snug. Exceptional, mid-range restaurant as it appeals to all ages and all pockets. It is vast inside with multiple bars and also houses a restaurant on its upper floors. McSwiggans is renowned for the quality of its food and they certainly provide plenty of options. They serve food encompassing breakfast, full lunches and bar food from 10.30am until 7pm.
