Aniar Restaurant is an award winning restaurant in west end of Galway City and the only restaurant in Galway with a Michelin Star. It is owned and operated by JP McMahon and Drigín Gaffey with head chef Enda McEvoy, who has returned from working in Noma, a restaurant recently voted the best restaurant in the world.
Since opening in 2011 Aniar has quickly become one of the most high profile and most popular foodie restaurants in the city. Aniar is a terroir-based restaurant where Chef McEvoy’s dishes are created with an ensemble of natural ingredients carefully sourced and selected to meet his high standards.
