Are motorised buggies available for hire?

Yes, the club provides motorised buggies and pull trolleys. Given the natural terrain, buggies are popular, so it is highly recommended to reserve one in advance by calling the Pro Shop.

What is the dress code?

Oughterard maintains a standard golf dress code. Neat, casual attire is required. On the course, collared shirts and tailored trousers are expected, and soft-spike golf shoes must be worn. Denim is generally discouraged on the course.

It is an excellent test of golf, with numerous water features, sand bunkers etc. that are strategically placed to protect the par of the course.
