What is the weight limit for riders?
For the welfare of the horses, the centre generally cannot accept riders over 15 stone (95kg). If you are close to this limit, please contact the centre in advance to discuss horse availability.
Are beach rides suitable for beginners?
Yes! They offer a “Beach Trek” (1 hour) which is conducted at a walk and is perfect for novices. More experienced riders can opt for “Beach Rides” which include faster paces depending on ability.
What should I wear for my first ride?
Safety helmets are provided. You should wear comfortable trousers (leggings or tracksuits—avoid jeans with heavy seams) and sturdy footwear with a small heel. Sandals or trainers are not permitted for safety reasons.
