Aer Aran Islands is a small airline company with regular scheduled flights to the three Aran Islands and scenic flights in the area. Flights go from Connemara Regional Airport which is located in Inverin (27km from Galway city). During high season flights leave every hour and flights only take about 10mins. Fares are reasonable and the experience is unforgettable. Scenic flights take off from Connemara Airport and fly south-east to the Cliffs of Moher, tracking along the Co Clare coast. The journey then goes north-west along Galway Bay to see the three Aran Islands with spectacular views of Dun Aengus Fort on Inis Mór Inos Oirr, Inis Meain before you return to Connemara Airport.
