Apple Blossom Barn is a self catering barn in a unique and special place, set amidst tranquil countryside yet so close to Galway City.
On entering this charming cottage through the blue half door you are greeted by a wood burning stove and a rustic style interior . The kitchen also shares this room with a natural stone wall restored by a local stonesmason. <br><br>
The bathroom is unique with a natural wood flooring and a rainshower effect shower, all in handpainted swedish style pannelling.
Upstairs are two bedrooms one of which is a double gallery bedroom overlooking the living area with a large open window looking onto an apple orchard enclosed by ancient stone walls that leads further onto the view of a valley were sheep graze and further afield the mountains of Connemara. The second bedroom has two single beds. It is a room with lovely character and beautiful soft furnishings. Heat and electricity are included in the rates. Local turf (bog peat) and wood is provided for the stove. The owners live nearby and will be on hand to meet you on arrival and help you to settle in. Children are very warmly welcomed here and also are pets.
