Múscailt Arts Festival 2010
The 10th Múscailt Arts Festival at NUI Galway invites all students, staff, alumni and the public to enjoy music, performance and art on campus. The new Student Centre, the Bailey Allen Wing, will be the central focus of Múscailt 2010.
This year there are many special guests, including Alice Maher, James Lisney, Marco Paoletti, Aideen Barry, John Colleary, Bubba Shakespeare and Kathleen O’Rourke, all aiming to inspire us. Student Highlights include The Wiz, at the Black Box, and new shows from Jugglingsoc, Comedysoc, Artsoc, Cumann Drámaíochta and many more. Almost all events are free. All welcome. Múscailt is organised by the Arts Office at NUI Galway.
In these financially tight times, it is important and fulfilling to encourage emerging performers and artists, working in both Irish and English, who are edgy and original. The artists featured in this year’s 10th Múscailt Festival are definitely making waves.
Festival open to all students, staff, alumni and the general public.
