Fleadh na gCuach (29th April - 01st May 2017)

Fleadh na gCuach is a hugely enjoyable and successful traditional music and community based arts festival held in Kinvara Galway which is celebrating its 23rd year in 2017. A well established and a great reputation has ensured that the Cuckoo Fleadh has become a showcase for the best in traditional music, attracting musicians from all over Ireland and beyond.

The festival will have a mix of traditional music, singing sessions, set dancing and poetry readings. It takes place every year on the May bank holiday weekend (the first weekend in May).

Expect great traditional Irish music blaring around the streets. There's plenty of traditional Irish music available from Connollys, Canoles, Fahys of Nogra, Flatleys, Greens, Keoghs, the Merriman Hotel, Pierhead, Sextons & Tullys with shows and lessons in Traditional Irish dancing throughout the weekend too.
