Now in its thirteenth consecutive season, Trad on the Prom retains its position as Ireland’s Number 1 music, song and dance experience. Trad on the Prom celebrates the passion of Ireland’s past with a contemporary production, featuring world class music, song and dance derived from the pulsating energy that has survived from the dawn of Celtic mysticism to become the record breaking phenomenon it is today.
Suitable for all nationalities, the world class cast features the amazing talents of Máirín Fahy (featured soloist with Riverdance and The Chieftains) on fiddle and vocals. Máirín is joined on stage by her outstanding band including Chris Kelly, Gerard Fahy (composer Lord of the Dance), Yvonne Fahy, Padraig Rynne and Benny Hayes featuring the unique sounds of the bodhran, whistles, uileann pipes, accordions, concertina, bouzuki, guitars, keyboards and much more.
The Trad on the Prom dancers have an astounding 25 World Titles between them including World Champions Claire Greaney, brothers Fergal and Cathal Keaney (lead Lord of the Dance), brothers Michael and Matthew Gardiner and Colm Conneely. Joining them on stage are champion dancers Siobhan Manson (lead Riverdance), Mary McDonagh, Emer Finnerty and Anne-Marie Keaney. Singers include Eurovision star Marc Roberts, Multi-AIMS winner Sean Costello and Chieftains vocalist Yvonne McMahon.
Trad on the Prom takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from May 16th to September 28th from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. The first show commences at the venue on Tuesday, May 16th and tickets are selling fast for it’s opening night. Group rates and Dinner
