The Pálás art-house cinema is the newest addition to the wide selection of entertainment venues in Galway and has state of the art facilities. Element Pictures, which also runs Dublin’s Light House Cinema, runs manages the cinema and ensures a mix of the best new Irish and international films, along with classics, foreign-language movies, animated films, shorts, documentaries, special events and festivals. Fitted out with a series of 22 Patrick Scott stained glass windows which Doolan donated, the five-storey building houses three screens, a bar and restaurant. Its central location by the Spanish Arch makes means its easily accessible to visitor to Galway City.

No, but the cinema has a customer deal with Park Rite at Hynes Yard. See details in www.palas.ie. There is paid parking available nearby around the Docks area too and at Hynes Yard and Eyre Square Centre multi-storey car parks.
