Dillisk on The Docks is one of the newest restaurants in Galway city and located in a wonderful location overlooking the harbour area of Galway. The menu combines both modern-creative and traditional styles of cooking using ingredients of local provenance. Dillisk on The Docks offers authentic sumptuous and inviting food and drinks in relaxing and contemporary surroundings. A key ingredient in many of the dishes is the unsung superfood of the pristine Atlantic Waters off the Connemara coast, seaweed. The restaurant name comes from the Dillisk which is a red seaweed common in Irish waters and has properties that help inhibit the process that results in high blood pressure and is also an excellent source of Protein and Vitamin B12.
