About the Jewellery Shop

Cobwebs is a must on the shopping schedule of any visitor to Galway with an interest in high quality antique and
contemporary jewellery. It was established in 1972 in a derelict building that was brought back to life by the owner. That very building, overlooking the Spanish Arch, has since featured in a Bord Faille advertising campaign on Fifth Avenue New York.
That revival is echoed in the store itself, which gives beautiful antique jewellery a new lease of life. There is an excellent selection of antique and modern jewels, engagement rings and one of a kind gifts under its roof. From brooches to bracelets, Cobwebs has an impeccable stock for any discerning customer.
The owner, Phyllis McNamara, has managed to combine her passion and background in fine art with a thriving business. She has also studied with Sotheby’s London and Cartier London.
Customers are assured of expert advice from Phyllis and her staff on items they are interested in purchasing. The team at Cobwebs is as proud of its expertise and outstanding service as much as the fine assortment of stock on offer.
