Leisureland is a popular sports and leisure centre located in Salthill, Galway. It is situated at the beautiful Salthill Promenade, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.

The main attraction at Leisureland is its large indoor swimming pool, which is suitable for both recreational and competitive swimming. The pool is 25 meters long and has six lanes, and it also features a plunge pool and inflatable activity course at selected times during the week.

Beside Leisureland pool and slide, Curry’s Funfair runs a large amusement park. Enjoy the carnival-like ambiance while choosing from a variety of rides and attractions to suit a wide range of ages and preferences. Everyone may find something to enjoy at the park; for those looking for speed and excitement, try the waltzers, roller coasters, icejet, XLR8 and dodgems. Or, you can like to test your luck and abilities at the various booths and activities scattered about. A favourite for all is the Big Wheel which provides amazing views all along the promenade to as far as the Aran Islands and The Burren. The funfair opens from mid-March to early September annually.

Concerts and events 🎶

Leisureland also houses one of Galway’s biggest and best event venues. The location regularly hosts a variety of events, including conferences, concerts with top bands and musicians, exhibitions, and sporting activities.

The ideal concert venue with a space of 633 square meters (excluding the vast stage area and balcony) and capacity to hold 1,020 for seated events and 1,200 for standing events.
