Fanore

Fanore is located on the southern shore of Galway Bay on the road between Ballyvaughan and Doolin and is well known for its extensive sandy beach which has some great waves breaks for surfing. Fanore village is popular with outdoor activity enthusiasts as the area has great walking, surfing and fishing. The town attracts many visitors due to it being situated on the edge of the Burren, which draws people from far and wide to explore its unique flora and fauna. Fanore is a small village that includes a a pub, shop with post office, campsite, surf school and a restaurant too.
