WindWise is one of Ireland's leading professional windsurfing schools. The school is located on Achill Island, which is situated off the west coast of county Mayo. We run windsurfing courses at every level of the sport. Our beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons can make use of a number of quality locations around the Island, which includes 5 blue flag beaches accommodating any wind direction. We are now providing stand up paddle boarding (SUP) lessons along with rentals for anyone interested in trying this amazing new sport.

West Galway School of Navigation is an all-year-round Sailing and Navigation School. During the summer they offer speed boat rides with a chance of seeing seals, dolphins and other wildlife in their vessel named 'Mollymawk' which is a Department of the Marine approved 5 person passenger vessel. The school is based in Ballyconneely but they run in various other venues. Telephone in advance for details of where and when the rides are operating. Training in sailing and shore-based activities also available.

With Shearwater Sea Kayaking you can explore the deserted islands, coral beaches and unique wildlife of Connemara under the ever-present backdrop of the Twelve Bens. Shearwater Sea Kayaking offers you sea kayaking instruction courses as well as guided and customized trips led by instructors who want to inspire and enthuse you. Purpose built all weather dive centre located on the sheltered Killary Fjord in Connemara. Our location are ideal for beginners to fully qualified divers. Courses provided on: beginner diving, open water diver, advanced open water diver, medic first aid, rescue diver, speciality courses, Boat Diver, Multilevel Diver, Drift Diver, Dry Suit Diver & much more. Ireland’s dedicated Stand Up Paddleboarding School (SUP) located on the promenade in Salthill Galway. The school is run by Ireland’s only qualified Stand Up Paddleboarding instructors. The school uses the best equipment available on the market to ensure you have an unforgettable experience on the water. The Stand Up Paddleboarding team have a combined experience of watersports totalling over 50 years – so you if you have any questions – they will be only be too happy to assist. At PaddleontheProm they offer two main activities – the traditional sit on top kayak and also the fastest growing watersport in the world – Stand Up Paddleboarding. A world class teaching operation based at one of Ireland’s best know seaside locations – the Salthill Promenade.

Lahinch Surf School is based at the beach hut on Lahinch promenade on the west coast of Ireland and provides a safe, relaxed and affordable introduction to the exhilarating sport of surfing. Established in 2002 Lahinch Surf School was the first of it's kind in Ireland and is the only Irish Surfing Association recognised Surf School in Clare, Limerick and Galway.

Killary Adventure Company is one of Ireland's longest running Adventure Providers. We have facilities for individuals or groups for up to 150. Schools and clubs are welcome and we are also an ideal holiday destination for families looking for something little different!

Kayakmór, sea kayaking in Galway Bay cater for all levels of kayaking from beginners to experts and tailor our trips to suit. Galway Sub Aqua Club is based at 14, Cross St. Galway. The club meets every Friday night in the clubhouse at 10.00pm. Regular club dives take place every Sunday all year round, and every Wednesday from April to October. The club takes on, and trains new members, every year in October. Situated on the west coast of Ireland, we have many top class dive sites within close driving distance.

Airport or accommodation pick ups are arranged, otherwise you simply meet us at the departure. points. We use Leisureland Swimming Pool for beginners and for some winter training sessions. All dive equipment and tank fills supplied.

Dive Galway are certified to teach the world recognised PADI (professional Association of Diving instructors) system, we also teach the IAHD system . All our courses are taught by qualified Open Water Dive Instructors, with years of experience.
