The minimum age to race is 7 years old. For safety reasons, all drivers must be at least 137cm (4ft 6″) tall to ensure they can safely operate the kart pedals.
Do I need to book in advance?
While “Arrive and Drive” is available, booking is strongly advised, especially on weekends and during school holidays, to avoid long wait times. Group packages (8+ people) always require a prior booking.

Galway City Karting is a fun activity for adults and kids alike. They can organise Go Karting race meetings for larger groups and arrive and drive for those that wish to turn up and race. (ensure to call in advance to check availability). There are lots of corporate events for team building, seasonal parties and sports & social clubs.
They can arrange pit teams of drivers from different departments against each other, or test the skill of your managers against your employees! Stags and Hens are also more than welcome too. Ideally located near the motorway, access to the venue is very easy.
