Aran Island Ferries sail to the Aran Islands located in Galway Bay all year round. All boats depart from Ros a' Mhíl, a port 23 miles west of Galway City centre. Aran Island Ferries operate a fleet of luxury, purpose-built ferries that vary in passenger capacity to accommodate private charter, as well as our scheduled sailings and ensure that our customers enjoy the best possible service. All our boats (except the Sea Sprinter) have a snack bar serving light refreshments and alcoholic beverages.

• Passengers are advised to allow one hour driving time from the City to the Port and must check in 1/2 an hour prior to sailing time.
• If availing of our Shuttle Bus service which departs from Merchants Rd in the City Centre, passengers are advised to check in 1½ hours prior to sailing time.
• Irish Free Travel Pass/ Senior Smart Pass accepted.
