What better way to sightsee in Galway, than on the Corrib Princess. Sit back on this luxurious leisure cruiser and enjoy a tour of the beautiful River Corrib. The Corrib Princess sails from Woodquay in the heart of Galway city, along the famous Steamers Line, which is the lakes traditional trade route. The boat will take you from the River Corrib to Lough Corrib. On your travels, you’ll see some of the most breathtaking views of castles and other attractions of historical interest. The onboard commentary will keep you entertained with stories and interesting facts about the sights that you see.<br/><br/> The Corrib Princess is a leisure boat designed to take 157 passenger over two decks. The main lounge has seating for over 80 passengers while the sun deck on top can cater for 70 passengers. There is a full bar on board as well as a tea and coffee service.<br/><br/> The sightseeing tour takes about 90 minutes. The tours run from May – October and depart at 2.30pm and 4.30pm from Woodquay. There is also another additional sailing during the peak Summer months. <br/><br/> The Corrib Princess can also cater for corporate functions, product launches, cocktail cruises, wedding receptions, birthday parties etc.<br/><br/> Woodquay is not far from the Corrib Shopping Centre, about a 10 minute walk from Eyre Square in the heart of the city centre. It advisable to firstly to confirm the sailing time of cruise and to turn up approx 15 minutes before hand. Tickets for the boat can be bought on board.
