Burren Perfumery
An Artisan Oasis in the Heart of the Limestone 🌸⛰️
Within in the quiet, moon-like landscape of the Burren UNESCO Global Geopark, the Burren Perfumery is Ireland’s oldest artisanal perfumery. Established over 50 years ago, this family-run company draws direct inspiration from the unique flora and wild beauty of County Clare to craft signature scents, organic skincare, and hand-poured candles.

Visitors are invited to step behind the scenes of a working factory where everything is made in small batches by hand. You can wander through the award-winning organic herb garden, watch the soap-making process, and view a photographic exhibition and short film that captures the soul of the Burren. It’s a sensory retreat that perfectly blends traditional craftsmanship with the rugged spirit of the West of Ireland.
