Tigh Neachtain is a cultural and historic landmark situated at the crossroads where High Street joins Quay Street in Galway’s ‘Latin Quarter’. Part of the city’s eclectic scene, it was founded in 1894. The building was the former home of animal rights activist Richard Martin and has served as a meeting place ever since. Tigh Neachtain is loved by locals and visitors alike.
