Ross Castle
Historic Estate on the Shores of Lough Corrib 🏰🌿
Secluded within a 120-acre estate on the banks of Lough Corrib, Ross Castle is one of Galway’s most atmospheric and historic hidden gems.
Originally a 16th-century ancestral home of the Martin family—one of the legendary “Tribes of Galway”—this beautifully restored castle offers a rare opportunity to live like Irish royalty. Unlike larger commercial hotels, Ross Castle provides an intimate, authentic experience, blending rugged stone walls and vaulted ceilings with the warmth of a family-run estate. Whether you are seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Connemara countryside, a base for world-class fishing, or a dramatic venue for an exclusive gathering, Ross Castle offers a timeless escape where the modern world feels miles away.
