🕒 Understanding the Timetable

The shuttle is split into highly structured morning and afternoon loops originating from Gort (Market Square).

  • Morning Loops: Shuttles leave Gort frequently between 09:25 and 13:25.
  • Afternoon Loops: Service resumes from Gort at 14:45, with the final bus departing Market Square at 17:20 and wrapping up its last drop-offs by 17:55.
  • Note on Coole Park: Pay close attention to the timetable arrival (Arr.) and departure (Dep.) times. During the middle of the day (13:35–14:20) and late afternoon (16:40–16:55), the bus takes scheduled layovers here, giving you the perfect window to enjoy an extended walk.

🚗 Hassle-Free Parking in Gort Town Centre

The Yeats-Gregory Explorer is designed to alleviate rural traffic and parking stresses. If you are driving into Gort, the town has ample parking spaces clearly mapped out for your convenience:

  • Free Long-Term Parking: Located conveniently near the Gort Rail Station, making it incredibly easy to transition from train to shuttle, or simply park your car all day without watching the clock.
  • On-Street / Short-Term Parking: Available throughout the town center (including Market Square, Church Street, and Main Street). Be aware that these areas utilize 2-hour pay-and-display parking.
