Kids Halloween experience 👻

Slieve Aughty are planning a spooktacular family experience at their annual Halloween festival. Enjoy the beauty of autumn with a walk through the countryside of South Galway or a pony ride to Bloody Mary’s Haunted House, or take the little ones on a witch’s walk in the Enchanted Wood. If you’re lucky (or unlucky!) you might encounter ghosts, witches or other spooky Halloween creatures hiding in the forest. Answer the fun Halloween puzzles to help find your way! Kids can pet the animals, get spooky faces with face painting, dress up in a silly costume, and make some Halloween arts and crafts.

For a spooktacular experience with the Witch Walk and Trail of Terror. The Witch’s Walk, designed for younger children (under 8), is a fun Halloween treasure hunt at 1.30 and 4 pm daily. For the brave souls, the Trail of Terror, a one-hour haunted adventure, kicks off at 4 pm. Families can also enjoy a magical stroll through the Enchanted Forest, spotting Halloween creatures, solving riddles, and collecting sweet treats! Don’t forget to book a quiet pony ride.

Tickets and booking 🎫

€20 per child (ages 2-12), adults and under 2 years of age free. Family discount for 3 or more children. Event runs from 12 to 5 pm daily.

*Pony Rides are not included in the entry fee and are €10 per child. Pony rides are only available for children age 4-12. Pony rides cannot be booked separate from the festival and are an add on only.

Groups discounts available. The festival requires advance booking and is held on October 26th-31st. Guided activities are at 1.30 and 4pm daily and are included in the entry fee. The festival does not cancel for adverse weather. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
