The Halloween parade by Macnas in 2015 is the third successive year of the widely anticipated spectacle, which has quickly become one of the highlights of the Galway cultural events calendar. This year’s Macnas Parade with the title ‘The Shadow Lighter’ will celebrate transformation, life, death and rebirth. Taking place at 5.30pm on Sunday 25th October 2015, expect spectacular and breathtaking creations from the always inventive Macnas team and for the streets of Galway to come alive for a one of a kind experience.

So who are Macnas?

Based in a former pram factory in Galway, Macnas is an internationally renowned performance and spectacle company.
