Now in its 33rd year, this festival which runs from the 22nd 30th October celebrates the wonderful marine heritage of Conamara. This fun packed festival celebrates the wonderful local marine heritage, with lots of great music and buckets of fun for all the family.
Highlights include music workshops; a small works art exhibition; a mini boat regatta, kite flying, a book fair; the Killary Challenge; and open sessions. Other events will include the Rambling House; school visits from marine biologists; the ‘After the Light’ parade and light spectacle which celebrate Letterfrack as a centre of excellence; and the Conamara Sea Week Banquet.

After the Light Parade
7.30pm Letterfrack on Wednesday 25th October.
Lights go out and the magic happens – drumming kick off, the animation starts and 500 imaginatively costumed people parade throughout the village bringing fire to the Lord of the Light.
