Mark the arrival of spring at Brigit’s Garden in Galway with two free Brigit’s Cross-making workshops over the St. Brigid Bank Holiday weekend.

These engaging sessions honor Brigit, a beloved figure in Irish tradition, and invite participants to craft a traditional Brigit’s cross or a Brídeog (Brigit doll) using rushes. Each workshop will provide all necessary materials, making it easy for everyone to join in and create their own piece of Irish heritage to bring home.

Whether you’re an experienced crafter or trying this for the first time, the workshops are open to all ages and skill levels. Choose the time that suits you best—no booking is needed.

While there is no charge to attend, donations to support the beautiful Brigit’s Garden are greatly appreciated.
