Celebrating nature in Connemara 🌱
Connemara Bog Week 2027 is expected to take place from June 2nd 2027, celebrating the rich biodiversity of the Connemara landscape. Hosted by Connemara National Park, this week-long festival highlights the unique wildlife and habitats of the Connemara Bog Complex SAC—from rare orchids and elusive hares to ancient oak woodlands and deep blanket bogs. Through the Dúlra Project’s daily biodiversity posts, visitors are invited to rediscover nature’s quiet magic and its deep ties to Irish heritage and folklore. All events are free.

This week-long celebration features a diverse program including artistic exhibitions, guided nature walks, expert-led workshops, and family-friendly activities. Whether you are interested in the “Dawn Chorus” at sunrise or exploring innovative farming practices, Bog Week offers an immersive look into one of Ireland’s most vital landscapes.

Cost: All events are Free and take place or start in Connemara National Park.
