This beloved two-day event offers a festive atmosphere and is a must-visit for those seeking unique, locally-made gifts and high-quality artisan foods before Christmas.

More than 50 local crafts people specialising in artisan food, drinks, art, jewellery and more will converge on the Black Box theatre Galway City for the annual Food, Craft and Gift Fair.

This two day event is great opportunity to find unique gifts before Christmas, along with a wide range of artisan jams, jellies, chutneys, cakes, cheeses, vegan foods, juices, and craft brews.

Beautiful creations of local craft experts will be on show ranging from handmade ceramics, leather work, wooden carvings, household decorations, gifts, jewellery and more.

Running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, this year’s fair features over 50 exhibitors, including fan favorites like Fluff Beag, Builin Blasta, Aideen Monaghan Art, The Wonky Woolins, and many more. Children will be enchanted by Barnardo the Magician, who’ll entertain with balloon creations and magic shows throughout the weekend, making it a family-friendly event.

You’ll find a wide array of artisanal food items, from jams and cheeses to vegan specialties, craft brews, and seasonal treats. Beautifully crafted ceramics, jewelry, leatherwork, and festive decorations will be on display, showcasing the best of local craftsmanship. Plus, 50% of door proceeds will benefit Galway Hospice, this year’s charity partner.

Located at the Black Box Theatre, Dyke Road, Galway, the fair opens on Saturday from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
