Inis Iron Meáin 2025

5k, 10k & 12k runs on the Aran Islands 🏃‍♀️

Inis Iron Meáin, is a particularly special island road race which is held annually on Inis Meáin, the middle island of the Aran Islands small archipelago. The course is an exceptionally scenic one with a choice between a 5km or 10km road race or a more difficult 12km route which includes a spectacular beach run along Ceann Gainimh. Race dates and start times yet to be confirmed but in previous years all races started at 12.30pm. The island can be accessed via island ferries from Rossaveal or by plane with Aer Árann Islands.
