The Kinvara Rock and Road Half Marathon and 10K is an running event starting and finishing in the scenic seaside village of Kinvara, Co. Galway. Up to 2000 runners will follow the route through some of the most beautiful areas of the famous Burren landscape.

When is the Kinvara Rock and Road?
The Kinvara Rock and Road event will take place in Kinvara, County Galway, on Saturday, March 1, 2025 (tbc)
Do T-shirts come with registration?
Unlike previous years, we will not automatically provide t-shirts to every participant. Approximately 15,000 t-shirts have been produced for the event since 2011, which has a significant negative impact on the environment. We understand that the race top is important to many individuals, so they will be available for separate purchase if needed.
What is the registration fee?
The registration fee for the Kinvara Rock and Road event is as follows: €45 for the 3/4 marathon, €40 for the half marathon, and €25 for the 10K. There will also be a small online processing charge.
When do the races begin?
The races will start at the following times:
– 3/4 marathon: 11:00 am
– 10K: 12:00 pm
– Half marathon: 12:10 pm
Do participants receive medals?
Yes, there will be medals for the winners of the Kinvara Rock and Road event. We look forward to seeing you at the finish line!
