The annual Christmas Day Swim takes place on Christmas morning at 11.30 am at the Long Point Loughrea. proceeds are in aid of CASA LOUGHREA in association with Loughrea Lions Club.

Take the leap and a experience a refreshing swim on Christmas morning in support of CASA Loughrea, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to give persons with disabilities a social outlet.

At 11.30 am, a large number of hardy souls will descend upon the crisp, clear waters of Loughrea Lake in an effort to raise money. For those who would like to donate, there will be a bucket collection on the morning.

Come along to experience the electrifying atmosphere and encourage those who are facing the chilly water, even if you can bring yourself to jump in.
