Swordfighting and music at the St. Nicholas’ Church Medieval Summer Fête

The Medieval Summer Fête at St. Nicholas’ Church is expected to return on Saturday June 8 2024 (to be confirmed). Running from 10:30am-2:30pm, you are invited to join the organisers for Medieval Music and Dance, Medieval craft and re-enactments of Sword Fighting and much more.

There is expected to be lots of fun and activities for children. Entry €3, children under 12 free

There is a unique opportunity to hear four acclaimed harpers along with Uilleann pipers and traditional singers in the city this week.

Artists expected include Kathleen Loughnane, Breda Keville, Caitrina Cannon, Cormac Cannon, Sile Denvir, Barry Kerr and Seamus and Caoimhe Ui Flaithearta. The concert is sponsored by Cruit Éireann and The Arts Council.
