After a vey successful event last year, The Salthill Kite Festival is expected to return to Ladies Beach in May 2027, bringing colour and energy to the shores of Galway. Part of the wider An Tóstal celebrations, the event showcases spectacular displays by expert flyers, including the renowned Kitecrew Ireland.
Visitors can enjoy giant kites, some as large as buses, alongside free kite-making workshops, live music, and local food stalls. Set against the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, the festival is a joyful celebration of community, creativity, and outdoor family fun.
