Taylor’s Bar & Beer Garden is one of the grand old establishments of Dominick Street in Galway City. Although primary a grocery shop when it first opened in the 1940s, customers could imbibe porter and whiskey in the back bar of the shop. Nowadays, with its rich history and grand old-world character, Taylor’s has become one of the most popular pubs for locals and a must when socialising in Galway’s Westend. Recently renovated it has retained its original layout and character, but comfort and amenities have been enhanced throughout. A new bar leading onto the expansive beer garden make it a great place to relax for an afternoon or to enjoy the buzzing Galway nightlife.
