Following their success in Dublin, the team now invites locals and visitors to step aboard and immerse themselves in a high-stakes adventure. Designed for 2–10 players, Escape Boats combines intricate puzzles, teamwork, and adrenaline-pumping moments to create an unforgettable hour of entertainment.

The current Galway game, The Inspectors, puts you in the role of an elite maritime inspection team from the Global Protection and Security Agency. A suspicious cargo vessel has been spotted off the coast, rumoured to be carrying something dangerous. Your mission: board the ship, uncover its secrets, and act quickly to prevent disaster. With just 60 minutes to investigate, your instincts, problem-solving skills, and cooperation will determine whether peace is preserved—or catastrophe strikes.

Escape Boats plans to launch a second game in Galway by the end of 2025, making it possible for larger groups to play simultaneously. For now, The Inspectors promises mystery, tension, and a race against time—right in the heart of Galway City.

Pricing and ages

Prices vary depending on group size and day of the week, starting at €25 per person for groups of five or more on weekdays. The experience is best suited for adults and teens aged 12+, with under-18s accompanied by an adult. While some adaptations may be possible, the game involves crawling through tight spaces, sudden noises, and light physical activity, so it may not be suitable for players with mobility issues, certain medical conditions, or a pacemaker.
