WindWise is one of Ireland's leading professional windsurfing schools. The school is located on Achill Island, which is situated off the west coast of county Mayo. We run windsurfing courses at every level of the sport. Our beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons can make use of a number of quality locations around the Island, which includes 5 blue flag beaches accommodating any wind direction. We are now providing stand up paddle boarding (SUP) lessons along with rentals for anyone interested in trying this amazing new sport.

Westport Wargames Paintball is the ideal choice for a Stag or Hen Party, Birthday parties or family get togethers. Catering for both large and small groups, Westport Wargames are open seven days a week, early ‘til late (Also floodlit for those dark winter evenings!!). Whatever the weather we aren’t afraid to go to battle, in fact we find the rain adds to the fun!! The games are played in woodland and fields which are situated on a Private Country Estate, 3 miles from Westport on the Leenane Clifden road. A popular choice for corporate outings as the perfect team building exercise or as a thank you to some valued staff members, especially at Christmas time.

West Galway School of Navigation is an all-year-round Sailing and Navigation School. During the summer they offer speed boat rides with a chance of seeing seals, dolphins and other wildlife in their vessel named 'Mollymawk' which is a Department of the Marine approved 5 person passenger vessel. Tarrea Queen Tours specialise in scenic tours and sea fishing charters around Galway Bay and surrounding areas. Spiddal Angling School is a long established Award Winning centre of excellence for fly fishing and spinning tuition, and has catered for beginner and improver for almost two decades. It has offered high quality courses in fly fishing and fly casting, spinning and the art of fly tying. Courses are designed according to need and offer ghillie/guides for the experienced angler. Individual, group and families are welcome.
